Welcome
to The Hall & Woodhaus Alpine Bar
at The Goffs Manor
Can’t make it to the slopes this winter? Don’t panic! The Hall & Woodhaus Alpine Bar is here to make up for any après ski missing from your life. Delicious drinks, warming food, twinkly lights and many, many real fir trees brings the magic of The Alps right to Crawley instead.
Gather your friends and get ready to clink those steins of beer. The Alpine Bar is open from 25th November to 9th January and takes place in a heated marquee, but if you want to be extra snug, feel free to BYO blanket (note: we’ve heard it also makes for an extremely good selfie).
Please note our Alpine Bar is only open Thursday – Sunday.

Yes, we’d recommend you make a booking online to avoid disappointment, but a handful of bar-style tables will be available for walk-ins.
What is there to eat and drink?
You can view our food and drink menus above. Our food and drinks menu in the Alpine Bar are different to what we serve in the main pub, so please make sure you are comfortable with what’s on offer before you visit.
What should I wear?
We have heaters but on those extra cold days you may need extra layers! Feel free to also BYO blanket if you want to be extra cosy.
Is there a fee to attend?
No, your presence at our Alpine Bar is payment enough. But please do make a booking online in advance to help us plan for your arrival.
Do you take cash/card?
At the moment, we only take card payments at The Alpine Bar.
How many people can I bring?
Online table bookings for up to 8 are welcomed. If your party is larger than this, please call us at the pub to discuss what we can do for you.
What’s your Covid policy?
Your safety is our number one priority, always. As a result, our policy in the marquee remains the same as in our houses. Tables will be cleaned between sittings, hand sanitisers will be available and you are welcome to wear a mask if you would like to. To protect our other guests and our team, if you are feeling unwell ahead of your visit, please cancel or reschedule your booking.
